What is the course duration and schedule?

How many students are in each learning group?
Each group consists of 4-8 students, ensuring personalized attention and effective learning.
What do lessons in YKI Preparation Groups consist oftudy materials?
Our YKI Preparation Groups cover all parts of the exam in the most efficient way for students.
Reading and writing tasks are assigned as homework, allowing class time to focus on speaking practice—both in pairs and with the teacher.
To ensure students are fully prepared for the writing section, the teacher reviews and provides feedback on their essays and texts. Since grammar plays a key role, especially in writing, essential grammar rules are explained throughout the course to support overall language proficiency.
Do you provide study materials?
Yes! All necessary learning materials, including YKI preparation resources, are included in the course.
YKI Exam Preparation
What is the YKI test, and why is it important?
The YKI Intermediate Level Test is Finland’s official language proficiency test, required for citizenship, work permits, and career advancement. Passing the YKI B1/B2 test demonstrates practical communication skills essential for everyday life in Finland.
How does YKI Test assessment my Finnish and which component is the most difficult?
The test assesses four key skills: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. It includes multiple-choice questions, written assignments, and recorded speaking tasks to evaluate overall language proficiency.
Statistically, Writing and Speaking have been the most challenging parts of the YKI Test.
How long should I be prepared to take YKI exam?
The time needed to prepare for the YKI exam varies depending on the current level and consistent input of the student:

We offer trial classes, but once enrolled, all payments are finalized and course fees are non-refundable.
